Decision Making

Making the right decision is a complicated but interesting task. Firms and people use lot of methods to do this job. I always thought that it is better for me and for my family and not harmful for others and against the laws. For example every one knows his financial position. Lot of time it is happened to me that I have already 3 jackets but when I found out a jacket that is on discount from 200 to 50 euros my heart say buy it, you can use it but I think it is not the right dicision. I must and I will not buy it because I don’t need it.

I think we can all relate to simular situations. Especially when one goes to the grocery store on an empty stomach. Often with my it seems my impulsive nature fights with my logical nature. I journal my feelings and goals for more clarity. Have you checked out the class on Psychology?

I think I do quite well with decision making skills. I did not know I was good at them until I was in charged at my first job. Then, I managed and took care of children in their house, which gave me skills to make decisions and manage a household. Working at different childcare centers, I have been put into situations that I had to make a quick decision. Yes, sometimes I reflect and make sure everything went the right way. Sometimes my decisions may not be the best, but I learn from those mistakes and choices. I do feel confident in my decisions and sometimes I will reflect and talk to my director so I can get some insight about the choices that I made.

Decision making have been extremely hard for me in certain areas. For example, with education goals. However, I’m finally 10-12 credits away from my bachelor’s degree. I can’t wait to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

To answer the question of if I feel confident in my own decision making skills, is definitely a tough question. My answer would be that some days I do and some days I do not feel confident, but that is do to my anxious nature. I think that in a professional aspect in which I know exactly how and why things are done, decision making comes easy. When it comes to personally, I think we all falter. Once a decision has been made, staying the course and completing your goal is easy. There may be bumps in the road, but seeing a goal or project through is always satisfying.

i don’t think confidence can result in decision itself. life is not that easy.

  • Do you feel confident in your own decision-making skills?

As I aged, I realised I’m becoming confident with decision-making. Maybe because of past experience.

  • Are you able to make a decision and then stay the course and see your actions through to completion?

Yes, a lot of times. Along the way I make better decisions.

Yes, I feel confident in my own decision making skills. It’s due to that I like to solve problems and find a permanent solution to that problem. I do a lot of research in order to find a solution in so that everybody can get benefit. But sometimes a person has to make quick decisions, at that point of time one can use his past experiences in order eradicate the issue.

Of course I make a decision and then stay the course. Its all about working hard and staying focused and understanding every small detail of the current situation that is happening.
