Course Discussion - Information Security Triad - CIA

Based on the Information security triad which is comprised of Confidentiality, Integrity and Accessibility (CIA).

Is your clients information sensitive and needs to be protected? If so, it’s confidential and must be protected. This requirement is not just a businesses ethical obligation but it’s legal responsibility as well.

The clients information must be maintained in a manner that does not allow for the degradation of this data. This is integrity.

The last element in the security triad is availability. Is your information security model comprehensive enough to maintain the viability of a clients data in the coming decades? If so, then the availability standard is met.
